CenterPoint’s Minneapolis Therapeutic Massage diploma training program includes Swedish massage and Advanced Therapeutic Massage education techniques. The foundation is an in-depth science curriculum with a client-centered approach to massage, where clients are active participants in their own therapeutic process.

What is Therapeutic Massage?

 At CenterPoint includes Swedish massage training and Advanced Therapeutic Massage techniques. These therapeutic massage styles are based on core concepts that can be best learned in a comprehensive therapeutic massage training program grounded in the theories of a Western-based science curriculum (anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology). The program is also governed by the principles of a client-centered approach to massage and bodywork, where clients are active participants in their own therapeutic massage process. The training program includes the theories and techniques that encompass different forms of massage therapy, personal and professional development, and a supervised clinical experience.

Upon graduation you will have:

• Learned therapeutic massage in a comprehensive training program grounded in the theories of a Western-based science curriculum (anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology), personal and professional development, and a supervised clinical experience.
• Developed excellent palpation and therapeutic technical skills, and be trained to respond to the needs of clients ranging from stress and relaxation to repetitive use syndromes, postural tension, overexertion, and auto, work, and sports related injuries
• Gained a very high level of therapeutic massage skills and knowledge that is necessary to become a successful massage therapist.
