WHAT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE TO YOU?

We will help you to search for the resources you need to make your career dreams come true!

• First, attend a Finance Information Session. These are scheduled weekly. Contact the Admissions staff for upcoming sessions.


• Then, meet with the Registrar for a personal and confidential discussion about the following financial assistance options or others that may be available to you. Discover the best financial aid programs for your eligibility and financial situation.

CenterPoint offers a variety of Financial Aid programs to assist you in financing your educational needs.

• CenterPoint offers Federal Student Aid through the U.S. Department of Education. Students who qualify will be eligible to receive Pell Grants and/or Federal Direct Loans. Depending on your circumstances, there are many options available.
  
  
• Minnesota’s Student Education Loan Fund (SELF), administered by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education offers low interest loans for tuition to qualified borrowers. Students must be enrolled in at least half-time and have a credit worthy co-signer. Contact the Admissions Department for more information.
  
  
• Sallie Mae, a leading provider of student loans nationally, will loan the total cost of tuition (less additional loan or grant received), plus up to 60% of the amount borrowed (not to exceed $6,000.00) to students who qualify. While students are in school, they can choose their payment option: defer payments, pay interest only, or pay interest plus principle.
  
  
• Veterans and/or dependents of disabled or deceased veterans may qualify for financial assistance through the US Department of Veterans Affairs. For more information, go to the web site www.va.gov or call 1-888-442-4551

Direct Payment Options:

• Payment to be made in full on or before the first day of class.
• Payment to be made in (3) Three equal payments, interest free, paid in the first three months of enrollment. The first payment is due on or before the first day of class.
• You may also inquire about individually arranged CenterPoint payment plans, which include an interest fee.
